IT Support Specialist


Earls Kitchen + Bar is seeking a qualified, outgoing, person to join our support desk on our Technology team. Our team is focused on applying technology to tackle real world problems. Our goal is to make Earls locations the best run restaurants on the planet.

We’re looking with someone who has broad technical knowledge, great communication skills, a drive to help others, and enjoys problem solving. You’ll be working alongside our Systems team to diagnose and troubleshoot issues as they come up, and design long term solutions where possible. You’ll learn the ins and outs of running restaurants at scale, work with a wide variety of systems and technologies, and support great people. If you’re detail oriented, self-motivated, and like to take ownership of problems this will be a great role for you. You’re the first person people reach out to and an ambassador for our team.

Our office is in Gastown. It is easily accessible from transit, has a bike room, showers, a kitchen, and a lot of wonderful people!


Earls Kitchen + Bar is a family-run business, launched by father and son, Leroy Earl “Bus” Fuller and Stanley Earl Fuller in the early ‘80s and is also one of North America’s most successful independent restaurant groups.   • Be the first point of contact in our support structure and respond to most general requests.
  • Respond to, triage, sort and escalate tickets in our help desk system.
  • Track, document, and follow up on solutions to issues submitted for help.
  • Set up and configure computers, printers, routers, software, AV equipment and more.
  • Onboard and guide new hires through their new tools.
  • Provide great support to all our partners.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Certification or experience working in Information Technology
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Comfortable with Windows, MacOS, networks and support software.
  • Ability to remain focused and see things through to completion.
  • A great sense of humour
  • Experience with scripting and automation
  • Naturally drawn to personal development and growth
  • A serious passion for food – we like to eat around here (sometimes wine is involved)
  • An organized multi-tasker with great attention to detail
